RSE plans 4th recording project

Red Star Express is headed back to the studio for its fourth CD recording project.

Their newest recording venture will be a mixture of bluegrass and Gospel favorites—songs that have been part of the RSE concert repertoire over the past year.

The new CD will be entitled "Loose Livestock" in honor of the title track, a Gerry Jost original, featuring mandolin, banjo and fiddle solos.

Two additional RSE originals will grace the recording, including the lovely rendition of Galen Hunt's dojo piece, entitled "Patty's Song" and the lovely Gospel ballad "Those Hands" written by Mike Mathes.

Previous RSE recordings included Gospel Express (2008), Newtongrass (2006) and Fresh Out of the Barn (2003) .
